About The Author
L. DeSchepper, M.D., Ph.D., C.A., D.I. Hom., C. Hom, is in private practice in Santa Monica, CA. He is the author of Acupuncture Within Everybody's Reach (1980) and a professional book Acupuncture for the Practitioner (1985). He has a medical license in Belgium, as well as in the states of California and Colorado. He obtained an acupuncture license in Holland after completing a 3-year course at the Dutch Doctor's Acupuncture Association. In 1980 he obtained his Ph.D. in Acupuncture in Paris, France. He studied with masters such as Nogier, Borsarello, Mussat, Lebarbier and was a participant in the French National Congress of 1979 - 80 - 81 as well as in the World Congress in 1979 in Paris. After immigration to the U.S.A. in December 1981, he received his license to practice acupuncture in California after passing the state examination. In 1992, he was awarded the Diploma of the British Institute of Homeopathy (D.I. Hom.) of the Hahnemann Academy of North America (Robin Murphy, ND., C., Hom.), both 2 year programs in classical homeopathy. In 1989 he published, Peak Immunity followed by Full of Life in 1991. He is fluent in four languages, speaking English, French, Dutch and German. He is one of the most renowned lecturers in the field of Acupuncture and has lectured at Acupuncture schools and to licensed Acupuncturists in Europe and the U.S.A.
