Carol Cumes (Peru) has traveled extensively in the Andes, lived with the Quechua people, and studied South American shamanism with curanderos and Andean pakkos in the jungles, deserts, and mountains of Peru.  In 1995, she moved to the Sacred Valley near Machu Picchu where she built Willka T'ika, a spiritual retreat center.

Romulo Lizarraga Valencia (Peru) was born on a farm in the Machu Picchu district and is Quechua.  He received a post-graduate license in tourism and lectures and leads excursions as a professional Andean trail guide.
