Francesca Ciancimino Howell, a graduate of Georgetown University and Cambridge University, England, is an initiate of the Temple of Gaia. About herself she says, "I've performed on stage and on screen across the world. I have also hung off of monumental cooling towers, chained myself to toxic waste sites, and marched in huge antiwar protests." Howell is an Adjunct Faculty member at the Department of Environmental Studies at Naropa University. She teaches, counsels, and performs rituals for her community in the Boulder, Colorado area, where she lives with her husband and two children.
