Sanguinaria Canadensis 

Stimulant, Tonic, Antispasmodic, Emetic, Cathartic, Antiseptic, Cardio Active, Topical Irritant, Pectoral & Expectorant. Has been used for catarrh, scarlatina, jaundice, dyspepsia, ringworm and affections of the respiratory tract. Used to induce vomiting. Externally used for various skin conditions, sores, eczema, ringworm, athlete’s foot, fungus & burns. Stimulates poor circulation.

Magickally used to protect the home. Worn to avert negativity & evil spells. Also worn to attract love.

CAUTION: Poisonous in large doses, strongly emetic & has narcotic effects. Consult an herbalist before using internally. Large doses are sedative and an overdose can be fatal.
