Arctium Lappa 

An excellent blood purifier, soothes the kidneys, cleanses skin and eliminates boils and canker sores from the inside out.  Used for gout, syphilis, sciatica, gonorrhea and kidney stones.  Once used to strengthen and encourage hair growth if the hair follicles are just dormant and not completely destroyed.  Also taken for gastric ulcers and said to increase resistance to infection.
