Nepeta Cataria  

A mild sedative, lowers fever, increases perspiration, relieves flatulence and digestive pains, dyspepsia & colic.  The perfect remedy for diarrhea in children.  It’s sedative action on the nerves adds to it’s generally relaxing properties.  And of course an aphrodisiac to cats.

CAUTION: If taken in large doses when warm, it frequently causes emesis.  Consult a pediatrician if giving to children.  Do not boil. Add to boiling water, cover and steep for 10 minutes.  Sweeten if desired.
