Reduces inflammation and is said to be helpful for hayfever, allergic rhinitis, catarrh & sinusitis.  Helps to heal eye ailments and contributes to eye health when taken internally.  Externally used for eyewashes for sore itchy eyes, conjunctivitis or sties, especially when there is a discharge.
