LUNGWORT

Pulmonaria Officinalis 

Traditionally used to treat chest & lung ailments, has a soothing, calming effect on coughs and is a mild expectorant.  Helpful for diarrhea & hemorrhoids. Used externally, helps heal cuts & wounds.

CAUTION: Recently thought that it may mirror some of the toxicity found in Symphytum(Comfrey), since they are closely related.  Consult a health care practitioner before using internally.
