Horoscopes for the Month of August 2005

Leo: (July 23 - August 22)
Happy birthday to all Leo’s out there. This is your month to shine. Throw yourself a Birthday party and invite all your friends. With the Sun and this months’ New Moon on the 4th it is all about you so have some fun on your birthday.
But on different note you have had the planet Saturn involved with your 12th house for a while and now with the New Moon and your Sun connected to Saturn; it is time to get serious. This means over the last year or so you may have been contemplating something in your life. Spending a lot more time alone or meditating. But this time is over and you should feel lighter and have a clearer head. It is time for you to focus and really work on those goals. Get rid of what has not worked for you over the last few years. So depending on when your birthday is you may feel this effect now or sometime over the next 2 years (Saturn is a slow moving planet).
Virgo: (August 23 - September 22)
This month is about your hidden strengths and weaknesses. Spending time alone and figuring out what is going on in your life. It is important to take this time and Meditate or do Yoga, anything that will clear your mind of the everyday confusion we all feel from time to time. Next month you will be asked to act on some of the things that are part of your life right now. Are they working for you or not? What do you need to let go of and what should you keep. You may have to spend some time at the hospital visiting a friend or family member or even go in for some tests yourself.
On August 10th you should have a wonderful day. You will feel optimistic about your finances and maybe even buy something pretty and extravagant.
Libra: (September 23 - October 23)
This month your focus should be on groups. With the new moon on the 4th of August your activities with groups will increase. It could involve children’s groups or some kind of creative endeavor of yours.
There is a wonderful aspect
happening on August 10th in Libra. It will be a pleasant day for all;
but those of you born within 4 days of October 7th should really pay
attention to what is happening around you. You should be getting clues to events
that will occur at the Solar Eclipse on October 3 this year. Write daily in a
journal so by the time October comes around you will see a pattern happening and
you will be able to act with the best outcome possible.
Scorpio: (October 24 - November 22)
This month your focus is on your career. You could be getting more responsibilities at work or just a heavier work load due to others being on vacation. Maybe even getting that promotion you always wanted and have worked hard to get. Which ever it may be your job is your focus. Just remember not be underhanded in any of your work related actions. By the time of the full Moon on the 19th you should be focusing on family and home.
Sagittarius: (November 23 - December 21)
Sagittarius people love to travel and learn; the perpetual student some would say. So have fun, as this time of year should be wonderful for you to do these things. Even if you can’t get away, a great novel would do just as well. You could even start to write your own book now or edit one already started.
Capricorn: (December 22 – January 20)
This month you may need some support from other people. It could be in
the form of a bank loan or borrowing money from a family member or friend. It is
not the best month to sign contracts but if you have to make sure to read the
fine print so there are no surprises later in the month. You could also get an
inheritance or have to pay over due taxes. It is quit a mixed bag for you this
month but it is all related to other peoples’ money.
Aquarius: (January 21 – February 19)
For Aquarius this month is about your one to one relationships and any partnerships you may have. It can be a spouse, friend, business partner or even a person you know as an enemy and how they relate to you.
Around August 10th you
may meet someone new that would help you down a new path of religious studies.
They could teach you about a foreign culture or you could have the chance to
travel yourself. There are many possibilities for you this month.
Pisces: (February 20 – March 20)
This month is about efficiency and day to day chores that have to be done. As a matter of fact there could be so much to do that you have little time for fun. It is not always easy for Pisces to focus and be grounded but get the chores done anyway and find some time for yourself.
Aries: (March 21 - April 19)
One of the best ways for Aries to use this month is to be creative while having fun. Involve children and especially groups. Go have fun and make an art project out of it. A beautiful colleague of summer vacation pictures would be a great way to involve the whole family.
Taurus: (April 20 – May 20)
This month your focus will be on anything to do with your privet life and your family. It could be that you have changed jobs and earn more money now so you can provide a more stable home for them. You could also be working too hard and not able to spend the time you want to at home. So you may cut your hours or find other work that is better suited for you to be home more.
And on a completely different note
your health should be good right now. Even if you have been sick you should be
able to recover quickly.
Gemini: (May 21 - June 21)
Gemini’s are all about communication and this month will be no exception; for the house that rules communication is highlighted. If you have been working on a project that involves hard work and writing it should soon pay off, but not till after August 15th. With your ruling planet Mercury retrograde from July 22nd till August 15th you may need to go over your writing one more time to find any mistakes before you pass it in. You may get your best ideas while working at home.
Cancer: (June 22 - July 22)
This month will highlight the things you value. It could be personal possessions, family heirlooms and even your own self esteem. I do think there could be the possibility of you receiving property from an inheritance, which would have sentimental value along with monetary value.
