Astrology I

with Don & Michelle

Saturday March 26 from 1 - 4pm

Astrology I is the follow-up to Introduction to Astrology.

In this class we will build on the basic concepts we introduced in the primer course. We will cover, in more detail, how the aspects of a zodiac chart work together to show astrological influences at a specific moment in time, such as the time of birth in natal charts. We begin looking at the individual aspects such as sun sign, moon sign, and others in more depth, exploring not only their traditional lore, but how to interpret their position in light of each other. We will discuss the bare chart itself, and its components, such as the houses and their unique groupings. We will also cover the interpretive information related to not only heavenly placement of astrological bodies, but their auspicious location in a zodiac chart, which includes terms such as ascendant, decanate, and cusp.

We will also introduce more advanced elements such as sextiles, squares, trines and more, although these will be explored more completely in Astrology II.

We will also learn how to cast and interpret a birth chart with the information we have learned, and also look at more ways of interpreting a chart based upon the 'patterns' that are made by the occupying planets.

Investment: $30
