Candle Magik

Candles have been a part of spiritual and magikal traditions as long as history has recorded their invention (maybe even before that). Candles are one of the easiest and most loved ways to express our intentions. In magikal traditions they have been used as representatives for elemental fire or other spiritual entities; charged for other magikal uses; and inscribed with magikal scripts to enhance their magikal effects.

In this class we will be discussing some of the mundane aspects of practical candle use such as safety based on type, location and material composition. We will also cover some of the most common uses for candles in magikal traditions, and how to choose the right one for the right occasion. We will also discuss charging and / or "loading" techniques and inscribing methods and the best choices for tools.
