Don & Michelle Don (aka Dragonknight)
has been interested in all things mystical since his early teen years, and prior
has always felt a connection to the Earth and its life-force.
While exploring his Native American and German heritage, he was quickly
drawn to the spiritual and metaphysical aspects of those and other cultures.
While serving in the US Army, Military Police Corp, he had the
opportunity to explore much of Europe and its “old world” traditions, and
really see where many of our pagan traditions originated, and are still
practiced today. These include the
Germanic tradition of Runelore and other magikal traditions of the northern
European cultures.
In 2003 Don finally
found his soul mate, Michelle, and together they are learning from each other,
and fulfilling their common urge to provide for the pagan community.
Michelle (aka Faery
Princess) has felt drawn to various mystical subjects for as long as she can
remember, and began her studies shortly before her teen years. Her thirst for
knowledge and understanding of the unseen has brought her before a multitude of
subjects. Some of her studies include various forms of divination, crystals and
gems, astrology and, most recently, herbology. Trying to find her
niche, she has also studied many different traditions; different branches of
Wicca have been her main focus, with Faery Wicca being the most recent, and the
most fitting. Helping others to
live a more spiritual, enlightening and fulfilling life has become an
increasingly strong motivation for her; motherhood of four, so far, being one of
her strongest driving influences. Together, Don and Michelle have started Conscious Awakenings. They provide readings, classes, and many handmade items including ritual wear and woodcraft. Their main goal is to assist others in finding, exploring and further developing their inner-selves. |
